JULIANNE RAINES, OT

MEET JULIANNE
Julianne earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology that sparked her passion for child development, health, and wellness.
Bringing several years of pediatric experience across day camps, swim instruction, early intervention, schools, and mental health clinics, Julianne takes a holistic, compassionate, and strength-based approach to care. Her practice is deeply rooted in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming principles. Understanding that every child experiences the world differently, she collaborates closely with families to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel understood, build confidence, and engage in the activities that matter most to them.
Beyond the clinic, Julianne loves staying active through hiking, camping, taking dance classes, and traveling. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll find her curling up with a good book or enjoying a cozy movie night. She is thrilled to be part of the VSLC team!
