Minecraft Group

Minecraft Group

Minecraft isn’t “just a game” around here. At VSLC, it’s a shared world where kids and teens connect, collaborate, and communicate in ways that feel natural, motivating, and genuinely fun.

Our Minecraft group uses the familiar, flexible world of Minecraft as a social and communication playground—a place where language, problem-solving, teamwork, and self-expression can grow organically.

Our Minecraft groups are offered in person in a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming environment.

  • Build shared worlds or structures together
  • Tackle challenges as a team and figure things out together
  • Enjoy low-pressure social time in a space that already feels familiar and safe
  • Build confidence just by showing up, joining in, or being part of the group
  • Take turns, negotiate roles and make group decisions
  • Express themselves in whatever way works best- talking, typing, showing, or building
  • Chat, laugh, and share ideas with peers who love similar things
  • Your child loves Minecraft (or feels most confident connecting through games and shared interests)
  • You’re looking for a low-pressure way to support social connection, without forcing traditional “social skills” groups
  • Your child is neurodivergent and does best in spaces that are affirming, flexible, and strengths-based
  • Your child communicates in their own unique way — whether that’s through speech, AAC, typing, gestures, or a mi
  • You want your child to feel safe, respected, and genuinely themselves while building relationships
