JULIA PRESTON, RSLP

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Julia earned her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto, following the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Victoria.

Julia began her career working in the areas of articulation, motor speech, and fluency in a school-based setting. During this time, she completed specialized training in motor speech and fluency through the Speech and Stuttering Institute. Julia has also completed Hanen’s More Than Words program and enjoys working with children of all ages to support the development of early language, social communication, and literacy skills.

Julia is passionate about building strong partnerships with families and creating positive, child-centred sessions to help every child grow in their communication abilities.

In her free time, Julia enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and enjoying the outdoors, whether it’s a long hike or simply relaxing at the beach!
