ALISON ROBERTS, OT

MEET ALISON
Alison began her occupational therapy journey in 1999 after graduating from the University of British Columbia. With over two decades of experience, she’s worked in a wide variety of settings, including home care, acute care, outpatient rehab, pediatric acute care, and palliative care. Alison has a special interest in chronic pain and arthritis management and is always eager to keep learning and growing in her field.
In 2024, Alison made the move to Vancouver Island where she embraced a new focus on pediatric OT. As a parent to a neurodiverse teen, Alison brings a deeply empathetic and neurodiversity-affirming perspective to her work, connecting with families through lived experience and understanding.
Alison’s approach is strength-based and client-centered, meeting each client where they’re at and tailoring therapy to be both meaningful and fun. She’s passionate about helping kids build self-advocacy skills and promoting inclusion in schools, communities, and workplaces. Known for her energy, creativity, and heart, Alison’s sessions are all about empowering clients and families.
Outside of work, you’ll find Alison spending time with her two teenage daughters, walking her spirited dog Cleo, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
