MEET MARGARET
Margaret Emilia Looker is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping individuals and families thrive in their everyday lives. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Queen’s University and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University.
Margaret brings a diverse clinical background, having worked across mental health, acquired brain injury, and pediatric settings. Her therapeutic approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and deeply client- and family-centred. She believes in the power of collaboration and views each client as the expert in their own life.
With a focus on advocacy and empowerment, Margaret is committed to creating inclusive, respectful spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. She enjoys integrating her clients’ interests and passions into meaningful, functional goals that support their growth and independence.
Originally from Bolivia, Margaret brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, continually engaging in self-reflection and learning. Outside of work, she finds joy in swimming, spending time in nature, and seeking out everyday adventures.
