MALIA KOSLOWSKY, OT

MEET MALIA
Malia is a passionate pediatric Occupational Therapist who brings over a decade of experience working with children in various roles—from coach and camp counsellor to respite worker and youth personal trainer. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Psychology from Trinity Western University and completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta.
Malia’s path to OT was sparked in 2016 when she co-developed Special Superchefs, an inclusive cooking program for at-risk youth with disabilities. Adapting the program to help children build life skills through joyful, functional experiences inspired her commitment to helping kids thrive.
Her practice is grounded in the neuro-relational framework and integrates nervous system–informed strategies to support co-regulation, connection, and development. Drawing from strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approaches, Malia partners closely with families to celebrate each child’s unique ways of engaging with the world—and to create practical, relationship-based strategies that build confidence and independence.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find Malia cooking for loved ones, diving into creative DIY projects, exploring local farmers markets, or swimming in one of BC’s beautiful lakes or oceans.
