Pediatric Occupational Therapist Position
Victoria Speech and Language is excited to be expanding our Occupational Therapist team!
This position is in-clinic with some community work that may also require travel so having reliable transport is preferred, but not required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Registered or eligible to be registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- We welcome new grads with our extensive mentoring and support! New graduates are hired as employees with a paid training period.
- OTs wanting to retrain to work in pediatrics will also have mentoring and training support.

Clients
Work with a diverse client base, ranging from young children (2 years) to adults, addressing a wide variety of OT needs: Autism, sensory, fine motor, gross motor, mental health, executive functioning etc.
Work environment
Our two brand new, multi-room clinics are fully equipped with all the materials you need at your fingertips; including a brand new 1000 sq ft OT sensory gym at both our locations. You’ll also have opportunities to provide sessions in homes, daycares, and private schools throughout the community.

Team bonding like you’ve never seen before at our annual weekend retreat. Many other regular social outings and get togethers throughout the year….we are a social team! We also value our members that are introverts so you can join at your desire:)
Job Type
Flexible position tailored to your availability and lifestyle. 25-40 hours / week depending on your availability.

Salary
Compensation ranges between $60.80/hr – $104/hr, depending on your experience and whether employed as an employee or joining as a contractor (experienced OT option).
Eligible for BC Loan Repayment
We bill to many government agencies such as Autism Funding, therefore you are eligible for the BC Government Loan Repayment.
Relocation Reimbursement/ Signing Bonus
Up to $3000 (depending where you are moving from) with a 1-3 year commitment.
