Michelle Jones, RSLP

Michelle completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of British Columbia.  Michelle’s therapy approach is client-centred and neurodiversity-affirming. She uses a child-led, play-based approach in partnership with families and their team to build on her client’s strengths to work towards functional communication goals. She is committed to evidence-based practice and continues to grow her clinical knowledge by keeping up with research and taking professional development courses. 

Michelle lives in Victoria with her husband. In her down time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, being active, reading and baking. 

Michelle has completed the following professional development courses:

– DIR 101: Introduction to DIR® and DIRFloortime®

– Meaningful Speech course in Gestalt Language Processing and Natural Language Acquisition 

– More Than Words®: The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children on the Autism Spectrum or with Social Communication Difficulties
