Megan Jenkins, RSLP

Megan studied Speech Language Pathology at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. After completing her degree, she returned home to Victoria where she worked briefly in the Victoria school district and then moved on to do 8 years of preschool speech and language therapy for Island Health. She has a special interest in stuttering disorders and early language development. She is trained in Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and while learning from the autistic community, she is implementing various aspects of her training into a neurodiversity-affirming approach.  Megan is a caring and thoughtful clinician and builds trusting relationships with children who have difficulty trusting others.  Following the birth of her second child, she and her family moved to the San Francisco Bay area to enjoy some new adventures and scenery. She enjoys swimming, skiing, being outdoors and spending time together as a family.
