Elizaba (Liz) Abraham

MEET LIZ

E(Liz)aba is our Human Resources and Office Manager extraordinaire! Liz jumped on board the VSLC team at the beginning of 2023 and from the get-go has been a source of innovation and joy! 

She moved across the world to us here in Victoria, BC from Bangalore, India in 2022 and completed her post degree diploma in Human Resource Management and Leadership at Camosun College early 2024. Liz is also a proud alum of Christ University, Bangalore, India where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Media, English Literature and Psychology.

Liz began her career in the non-profit sector as part of a leadership fellowship, Teach for India. This is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in under-resourced schools. After she made lives better doing that, Liz then went on to work for multiple social impact organizations as a communications specialist.

Utilizing this background, Liz is the Office Manager of our Westshore location and the Human Resources Manager of our entire centre. Her ability to form connections with, and between people is unmatched, and her life-long mission to always find the most efficient way to do something means that VSLC is in good hands!

When she’s not rocking the office, you’ll find Liz watching crime documentaries, working on puzzles and scouring the internet for life hacks!
