Office Admin Assistant
E(Liz)aba is our Office Admin assistant extraordinaire! Liz jumped on board the VSLC team at the beginning of 2023 and from the get-go has been a source of innovation and joy! As well as bringing her experience and skills to the VSLC office, Liz is somehow managing to simultaneously complete a post degree diploma in Human Resource Management and Leadership at Camosun College. She moved across the world to us here in Victoria, BC from Bangalore, India in 2022 and is also a proud alum of Christ University, Bangalore, India where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Media, English Literature and Psychology. Liz began her career in the non-profit sector as part of a leadership fellowship, Teach for India. This is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in under-resourced schools. After she made lives better doing that, Liz then went on to work for multiple social impact organizations as a communications specialist. Utilizing this background in communications, Liz is our face of our Glanford avenue clinic and if you can’t find her greeting you at the desk, she’s probably in the back helping one of our clinicians with a scheduling or client question. When you call us on the phone, it is most likely Liz who will be on the other end of the line and when she tells you she’s happy to help, she will actually mean it! Motivated by a strong need to find a better and more efficient way to do anything and everything, Liz comes at problems from a different angle and as a result, she has upped our admin efficiency game to a new level. She also happens to be our go-to for all things tech! When she’s not rocking the VSLC office, you’ll find Liz watching crime documentaries, working on puzzles and scouring the internet for life hacks!
