RAIN VAN DER KAMP, OT

MEET RAIN
Rain van der Kamp is a registered occupational therapist with two master’s degrees and a passion for supporting children and families through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. Before becoming an OT, Rain completed graduate research in kinesiology, exploring child development and the science behind “teenage clumsiness” and how it relates to body awareness.
Rain has worked in diverse settings-from remote northern communities in Nunavut to leading an interdisciplinary team at a supported-housing healthcare start-up in Vancouver. Rain is dedicated to helping others discover their strengths and build confidence, drawing on values of integrity, effort, and patience in every aspect of practice.
Inspired by personal childhood experiences, Rain’s goal is to empower clients to find their own path and develop meaningful skills for daily life.
Outside of work, you’ll find Rain enjoying the outdoors with their dog-whether running through the woods or relaxing by the ocean.
