MEET LARA

Lara is a passionate advocate for children and youth, rooted in the scenic Greater Victoria Area where she grew up. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Lara has dedicated her career to creating safe, nurturing spaces where young people can thrive.

Trained in a diverse array of counseling modalities, Lara tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each child she works with. She is committed to a person-centered, strengths-based philosophy, empowering children to discover their potential and embrace their individuality.  Lara is excited to work with such an amazing team of professionals who are committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming care to their clients while continually learning from the autistic and disabled communities.

When she’s not working, Lara cherishes time with her husband, two daughters, and their beloved dogs. Whether she’s running, hiking, or playing soccer, Lara finds her joy and balance in the great outdoors, always seeking new adventures with her family.
