MEET ALLIE
After earning her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, Allie has been practicing as a speech therapist since 2008, with experience in California, Colorado, and British Columbia. For the past decade, she has specialized in working with students who have complex medical, communication, sensory, behavioral, and physical needs in a school setting. Now based in Victoria, Allie is dedicated to providing supportive and inclusive care to her clients and their families. Her professional journey has fostered a deep passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), emergent literacy, and language processing.
Allie firmly believes that therapy should be playful, engaging, and accessible, ensuring that every session is both enjoyable and effective. Committed to evidence-based practice, Allie stays updated with the latest advancements in Speech-Language Pathology to provide the best possible support for her clients and their families. Her core belief is that every individual deserves the opportunity to communicate independently and autonomously, enabling them to be active participants in their communities.
Outside of her clinical work, Allie enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Victoria, rock climbing, knitting, and teaching fitness classes.
