We’re looking for an energetic RCC, RSW, or CCC with Play Therapy expertise to help kids and teens navigate their emotional and behavioral challenges through playful, engaging methods. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Registration as a Clinical Counsellor (BCACC), Social Worker (BCCSW), or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA).
- Specialized training or certification in Play Therapy.
- Experience providing play therapy to children and adolescents, with a strong understanding of neurodiversity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage crises effectively and empathetically.
- A commitment to creating an affirming and supportive therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Intervention: Use play-based tools to assess and support neurodiverse children. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, creating treatment plans that focus on strengths and address challenges.
- Family Support: Work with families to guide and support their child’s therapeutic journey, offering practical strategies and insights.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records, including assessments and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care that respects neurodiversity.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in play therapy and neurodiversity-affirming approaches through ongoing training and professional development.
- Ethical Practice: Adhere to ethical guidelines from professional bodies with a commitment to neurodiversity-affirming principles

Expected hours
16-40 hours per week
Salary
Up to $97.50/hr.
