Rebecca Boon, RSLP
MEET REBECCA
Rebecca is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 14 years of experience working with kids aged 1-19. She has worked with children with a wide variety of communication skills, in both early intervention and school settings.
She currently works part-time at the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health in the Early Intervention Program.
Rebecca works with Autistic clients from a neurodiversity-affirmative lens. She has completed the Meaningful Speech course to learn how to successfully treat children who use echolalia and language scripts. She has also taken the introduction level of Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and uses the neurodiversity-affirming elements of the program in her practice.
She strives to presume competence, provide access to AAC, support emotional and sensory regulation, and to build self-advocacy. She is passionate about providing trauma-informed services. She meets clients and families where they are at and takes a respectful approach in collaboration.

- Lidcombe Program
- Fluency Plus Program
- Meaningful Speech – Natural Language Acquisition
Rebecca continues to seek out new research and training pertaining to her field. She tries her best to help kids reach their full potential by incorporating their interests. She cares deeply about her clients and strives to keep therapy fun and positive, as well as productive. She lives in Victoria with her two kids and husband.
