Marie Maratos, OT

Marie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria and a Master of Occupational Therapy Degree from the University of British Columbia. Marie is a Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP) and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.

After living and working in the Yukon and Vancouver for 12 years, Marie moved back to her hometown of Victoria. Marie has over 15 years of experience working with families, and children and youth of all ages and abilities, in a variety of practice settings. Marie has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist, in private practice since 2017.  Marie focuses on function and establishing therapeutic relationships and uses a neurodiversity-affirming framework to support clients to achieve their goals. Marie is a wealth of knowledge and is a very well-respected clinician in our agency.  She connects easily with clients of all ages.

 In her spare time, Marie enjoys biking, canoeing, hiking, playing squash and cooking.
