Mandy Mills, OT

Mandy Mills graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Kinesiology. After graduating she volunteered with the Down Syndrome Research Foundation in Burnaby, BC facilitating recreation programs for both children and adults. She sparked an interest in becoming an Occupational Therapist while working as an Educational Assistant for the Burnaby School Board. She went on to graduate from the University of British Columbia in 2011 with a Masters of Occupational Therapy.  Since graduating she has worked with both children and adults to achieve their functional goals. Mandy values goal-directed, client and family-centred practice; and values building strong relationships with her clients and their families. In her spare time she loves to explore Victoria with her husband and their three children, and head up to the ski hill any chance she gets. 

Mandy’s additional training includes:

  • Collaborative Proactive Solutions (CPS) by Dr. Ross Greene
  • A comprehensive introduction to sensory processing and Autism: Towards the development of a strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy practice
  • Making Sense of Aggression -Neufeld Institute
  • The Get Permission Approach to Anxious Eaters, Anxious Mealtimes
