Laura Raspier, OT

Laura graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009. After graduating, Laura worked in Alberta providing in-home support to families with children on the autism spectrum and within schools providing support to teachers and educational assistants. Laura has a passion for working with families with young children, providing family-centred, collaboration-based supports to parents and caregivers. Laura believes in meeting children and families where they are at and celebrating small steps towards big change. Laura focuses on connection and trust between the therapist and client and takes a no-pressure therapeutic approach. Laura focuses on building self-confidence, personal autonomy and a positive self-image so that clients can work towards and reach their goals, when they are ready! Laura has a special interest in self-care skills including toilet training and picky eating. Laura is relatively new to Victoria and enjoys spending her free time exploring the island with her husband and two daughters.
