Fluency (Stuttering) Group for Kids and Teens

Focus will be on connecting with other peers who also stutter, exploring experiences with stuttering, strategies for dealing with teasing and bullying, building acceptance and self-esteem, self-advocacy skills and having fun!

• Bi-weekly for 6 weeks
• Small groups of 6 members

• Speech therapy receipt available for extended health benefits
• Contact us if the cost is a barrier as we want all kids who want to attend to join us! Sliding scale or bursary available for those families for whom the cost is a barrier.
• Fluency strategies and therapy will not be a focus of the group but may be worked on if the group desires

Cost

$90 total cost for 6 group sessions

($15/ session)

7-11 years old: Schedule & dates TBD based on interest

12 years and up: Schedule & dates TBD based on interest.
